RESULTS UK is a UK charity that works at a grassroots, national and international level to create the political will to end hunger and the worst aspects of poverty.

At the heart of RESULTS is a network of volunteers who work together in local groups to become effective advocates for change. Groups meet every month to learn about a development issue from an expert and about what we can do to take action. We regularly work on issues such as education, microfinance, child survival and global health. We then support each other to take actions to create the momentum for change, such as meeting with our MP, writing to decision-makers or getting letters published in local newspapers.

Our approach has proven to be a powerful advocacy combination with tangible and lasting results. As one of our grassroots activists pointed out, "It’s no longer good enough to just shrug your shoulders and say ’What can I do?’ RESULTS answers that question." Read less
